Evening all! Had an interesting weekend. Yesterday was the 7th annual Dale A. Bohrer Aim for a Cure trap shoot for the National Brain Tumor Society that my wife's family and I put on, in honor of my late F.I.L. A bit smaller than previous years, but after all expenses and seed money for next year, we'll still be writing about a $2900 check to NBTS. Plus, I shot 27/50 (with a fair amount of back pain), which I'd normally be pissed about, but did so with my Wife's - Grandfather's old Browning BT99, which no one else in the family can seem to shoot. The first time I tried using it I think I went 8/50. Going over 50% with a hurting back and weapon I don't have years of practice on is ok.
Today Dad and I delivered a cord of wood to a friend and Her niece (1/2 cord a piece in two locations) and then I hopped on a fairly new Kubota L2501 (54 hours on the meter) and did some bush hogging for Her. Not a BIG tractor by any means, but I was impressed how well 25hp performed in that format. I may come for sale soon too, which has me thinking, but I think I may be better off with a 35/50hp tractor... We'll see.
