Ready for another round of splitting large rounds. Just finished stacking the last batch. Nice to get the wood out of the way for fall tree planting. Going to be a busy fall.

Started in on the camper shell project.
Replaced all the base wood today and removed the widow assemblies for repainting.
Have to replace 3 broken windows that some intelligiant person kicked out.

Good morning!
Yesterday was actually a very productive day. Cleaned up, bagged and/or burned a big bunch of brush and debris in my driveway and yard. Nancy checked the house and area for mold last month, and outside was way higher than the basement (I keep lights on down there for this), and maybe she is reacting to the mold. There was a lot of rotting wood mass in the form of bits of lumber, old firewood etc in the dirt, and I gave the area the "blue steel and sunshine approach. This should reduce mold and increase airflow in the area, and maybe help with the mosquitoes. I felt productive, anyway. I go fix Gary's sidewalk today, because I dropped a tree on it the other day. Oh well, another chance to run saws, which is rarely a bad things when you're running the trusty Über Alles. The TS360 I got new in 1994 when I was carving stone, stihl runs just fine with no repairs ever, except plugs, filters, and starter cords. Hope you have a good day today!

Everything is pretty green up here yet, we just started chopping silage. It's looking to be a long drawn out fall for us
What are you running for a chopper? And how are you storing it?
We used to chop about 500 tons of forage a year. I sorta miss it. Sorta.

We custom chop, fill bags and silos. We have a self propelled 1895 New Holland with 4 row head and IH 830/881 pull type choppers. We like to run both choppers with 5-6 wagons if we can find enough help to haul it a way
