It's an outboard clutch so it's kind of hard to know what rim it is

That's the bad thing on outboard clutches with a rim drive. They are very selective about lining up the chain to the drive. I've seen them not line up but look like it's ok. Operating the saw they slip something fierce.
My Double Eagle 80 is extremely picky. Almost takes 2 people to put a chain on it.

At least it has superior balance.

3120 is same way. Difficult to install chain. Learned to roll it upside down to check that chain is on

I think the brochure said the Plus has an improved cylinder porting design for more power and improved anti-vibe.
