Well the 7000 and the 7000 Plus aren't shelf queens anymore. Gassed and oiled and fired up pretty easy.

That's the bad thing on outboard clutches with a rim drive. They are very selective about lining up the chain to the drive. I've seen them not line up but look like it's ok. Operating the saw they slip something fierce.
My Double Eagle 80 is extremely picky. Almost takes 2 people to put a chain on it.

My Double Eagle 80 is extremely picky. Almost takes 2 people to put a chain on it.
I take that back. It almost takes 3 to put a chain on it.

I think the brochure said the Plus has an improved cylinder porting design for more power and improved anti-vibe.
