Though I have never owned or ran one, they have a strong following; often described as a 346 on steroids, especially when ported. People that have them, often don't want to let go of them.

From what I have read the 257 good 254 even better! !! Like so much better Randy traded port work on 3 saws to keep one he ported.

We had a good weekend carving at the Alber's Marine hunting and fishing show in Pittsburg, Ks this weekend!!

....

They have something that everyone of ya wants even if ya don't know it yet......we didn't have any power so we talked the owner into letting us display and use his personal powerbox out of his truck to finish some carvings in front of the convention center.......these things are handy....and the beauty is that it is quiet all the time no generator running which we loved ....as soon as we turn off the grinder you can hear your music!! .

125 psi air /3 gal tank on demand// hose reel. It can run a 3/4" impact and will air up the largest combine tire in 8 minutes!! electric extension on a 25' reel.. Radio with telescoping antennae ..... 24v jumpers ......outlets for your chargers etc.. All of this is hooked into your alternator so its always charged and ready for 8 hrs of use...not to mention it has an extra 3000 cranking amps for those cold starts or when your battery runs down or the diesel hard starts......

We are trying to get setup as dealers so that everywhere we go to carve we are showing this to potential customers....plus we can hook any of you guys up with a major discounted price!!!! If anyone would like to see it in action or a demo I can set that up with a phone call.....

That powerbox is coooool. What is it running off of? Self contained batteries? What type of batteries? Does it have to be charged from external power source? Does the truck charge it? Need more info.

Its self contained , not sure of the type, but it is hooked up through the alternator In Your vehicle...no external power source necessary...they are now installing specialty designs for boats and other things on a smaller scale....we will be getting the run down and training on all the specs ... The owner/engineer was in the aerospace industry till this product was ready for launch....they delivered a newly produced video/commercial Saturday while we were at the show.. So they are moving full steam ahead at this point....pm me a and I can set up a demo if you feel the need.....
