Yesterday I trimmed some on my big tree
With my pole saw. I knocked a big fork
Off , I reached over the roof of the old rotted model a shed and dropped the
Big thing off 8" around with (2) 10 ft
Branches. She fell straight down safely
To the ground, I cut it up with the 450.
I need somebody with a bucket truck
To work that thing over and take weight off of it

Morning all! Got a bit over 1.25 cords split over the last two days (among other obligations) and some of it stacked yesterday. Now I'm up to 4 cords done (of 12 I want on hand at least) for sale wood... I like being about 1/3 done in January... I'm probably sitting on about 2.5 seasons worth of cured stuff for myself, but will no doubt be adding to it as well. I know we need the rain but a bit of dry period would be appreciated as it's a PITA to get wood out when there's better than a good chance of getting stuck. Plus I don't like rutting places up...

Can't see the mud now..

The water is hiding it.. But got a good Fire goin in the shop stove. Chains are sharp, 562 and 064 are ready to take a tree down today, it just won't ease up enough to go do it.

I did run the 562 and the splitter a bit today for about 1/3 of a rick... The 562 was going strong, until I cut through a log that was covered in creosote, not realizing it at the time. Everything else was covered and crappy too, but the creosote pretty well finished off the semi-chisel chain I was running.
