Morning midlanders!

March 1979 ish left St. Louis in an ice storm headed back to Joetown. Drove average 35-45 mph entire way. Stopped counting cars in the ditch at 200 and only counted 18 wheelers. Fifty of them. Trip took nearly eight hours on I70.
Twenty miles north of KC finally got to dry pavement.

Starting on kitchen floor today. Daughter is coming over to help/learn how to do it. She considers me an expert wood worker.

I have been working on 3-4 pecans and a hackberry. All the pecan is bucked and stacked at my wood lot. I got the hackberry bucked yesterday. Just have to go load it and take to the wood lot, bringing some of the hackberry home...then I will be done with this project.
