Paddlefish bands

If you want some info on tagged fish in OK you can go to the bottom of this website and input the tag and it will give you dates and measurements of the fish as well as GPS as to where it was tagged.
Just for the fun of it that one was tag G27708.

Morning all, 55° to 72°. Work around the house today with a run to Neosho. Pizza buffet with the wife for LUNCH, bit of shopping(probably impulse buy), then entertain myself while she gets her hair done. Nothing expensive or crazy just something neat I hope.

Picked up this Western Auto camp stove made by Thermos today, my impulse buy. Best I can figure it is early 60's, going to have to do some more looking into it. I walked in and put it on the counter to buy, had someone else walk in less than three minutes later trying to buy it as well. Went to grandfathers house and picked up another box from the garage to clean out and put back together. One more of these type to bring home.

I spent 10 years working for Western Auto.
There were 2 types of stores. Company owned and Home owned franchise stores. I came in when the company stores were switching to automotive only. Parts, tires and accessories. The home owned stores you could still get appliances, lawnmowers, etc.
Last year I saw a Lawn Boy mower on marketplace with a sticker on it that said “Bill Hanks Western Auto, Ozark Mo.” on it.
It’s currently in my garage.

I used to buy parts from the one in Joplin before it closed. Can't remember when that was. Lit this thing up tonight just for the fun of it. I can only find one reference for the model on the net so far. Should be a 1963 one.
