Morning all 46° to 59°. Rain through the night but no thunder and flashes of lightning in the distance. Seem like rainy nights help me sleep better. Working around the home this weekend so I can do a little crappie fishing next week while on vacation.

Oh, and if you take the wife out to dinner, it ain’t noon…
Exactly. My wife and kids have asked "What's for dinner?" thousands of times. It is always after 4:00ish in the afternoon. It goes breakfast, lunch, dinner/supper. Maybe it is a regional thing.

Morning everybody.
Started raining about 10pm last night. No storms or lightning that I know of but it sounded like it rained all night until about 6 this morning. Rained pretty heavy at times. It can get fairly loud in this aluminum beer can.

I think it’s whatever one was raised using. My parents always called it dinner. My mother was born and raised in Ozark county Missouri, where the Stamp is located. My Great uncle, my mother’s Uncle, was raised and died in Ozark county. He always called it Supper. My mother’s side of the family came to Ozark county, from Kentucky, in the mid 1840’s. We’re just a few miles from where my mother was born.

My father was born in Houston Mo but raised in Springfield Mo. Graduated high school in 1943. He and his buddy immediately joined the Army Air Corps. They figured it was better to join and get the Armed Force of their choice. He served out the war in the Phillipenes on an air base. He was a Corporal in supply.

Last weekend they were saying rain most of the week so planted grass and covered with some straw mat on the north side of the house only to watch it all drop off. Still hoping to get something to grow and stop the erosion.

Morning all 41° to 68° and sunny. Think a run to Stockton lake is in order for tomorrow for some crappie. Waiting for a little more light to feed bottle baby and then lunch at the folks. Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy and biscuits on the menu.

Morning everybody.
Got another step completed on the new shop. Finished insulating the walls. There’s enough insulation left over to do the ceiling too, hopefully. I’ll also do blow in type on top of that. Next step is to install dusk to dawn led lights on 3 sides and get them wired before the ceiling is put up.
