Cooler here, been having overnight fires & an occasional daily fire. I just can’t stand to hear the furnace run.
Mama’s temperature regulator is out of control it was 76 in here yesterday & she was wanting more fire …

Calling for rain daily thru Sunday & then there is this for tomorrow.

Morning all, 47° to 71° today. Saw a couple of new calves yesterday morning that need to be caught. I had hoped to be home in the daylight yesterday night but UPS thought otherwise. Going to get that done this morning.

Sounds familiar. Cold at night, wife wants heat on; hot in day, wife wants AC; cold at night again, wife wants heat; now it's hot, need AC. I finally turned everything off yesterday morning. Keep the snow and ice; that would be a disaster down here at the moment.

Good morning. 14f (when I first looked at the OS guage) to 46f with 24f currently.
Frosty with many chirping birds even in the cold b4 sun-up and it seems that the chirping slowed down and now just a lot of fly-bys heading to one of several feeders close by.

Extra people today so work from home day. Two freshly minted steers for the morning. Been only listening a bit on the spaceflight but was wondering what it would take optic wise to see the Artemis II flight from here seeing that the moon was easily visible into the morning.

Saw my brother carrying a calf to the barn on my way by this morning

They had another 2 overnight, he & his wife had to pull one of them.

My brother used to start at the end of January but moved them back to end of March/first of April.

You may get a glimpse with a good spotting scope, tracking would be the issue.

I have a 50x spotting scope, we use it to look at planets & such but the 80x telescopes are much better.

Unless you shell out the $$$ to get a fancy auto tracking type unit.

$1500 -$2000 should do it.

Those baby beefs will more than cover a nice auto tracking telescope.
