Yup!You have rattlesnakes in those bluffs ???
I know they have them up around Highlandville in NE IA.
That would be too damn close for me.Or pieces under a shovel.
Yup!
Old timers called our bluff Rattlesnake ridge. We’ve had them in our garden and driveway usually in August. I flattened one by the garage and another lit up about 10’ behind me in the wife’s flower bed. Almost needed a change of underwear.
A snake fancier told me once that there’s a den every 3-4 miles on the bluffs up and down the River on both sides.
Welcome back to the USA Jason & praying for a continued safe trip home.Good morning, gentlemen!
We made it back into the US yesterday evening.
We waited 2-1/2 hours in line at the border, but once we got there, the crossing was quick and easy.
There is always something to complain about, but I sure am thankful to be back in the USA!
We stayed the night in Wilcox, AZ.
We have two more days of driving to get home.
