I been hearing some rumblings about it getting pretty wet for a period of days.
If we get even close to the amounts they’re squawking about, the ponds will be very full..
If that happens do you want a call or a text when we are heading to Miami. Raising water will bring up the spoonbill.

@JimBear

You flew down to Hotlanta and drove back?

Because of delays or brought a new vehicle back?

I talked to my buddy that lives in Cumming GA and he said Atlanta Hartsfield was a disaster
Our intention was to fly, MCI airport was a breeze as always. 15 minutes or less from curb to terminal waiting area.

Our flight was delayed 6 hrs due to “technical” issues, at the 3-1/2 hour mark I got pizzed & canceled the flights & we rented a car. Drove down & back.

The water pump went out of my wife’s buggy the day before we were going to leave so Dad hauled us to the airport & picked us up. Apparently the engine gets pulled or you drop the front end out to replace the pump…

$341 to rent that VW Tiguan, 1900 miles & 30 mpg. I was ok with it.

Never been to the Atlanta airport, wasn’t looking forward to going & likely won’t ever go…

My wife wanted to fly, she can fly next time…

Extra people at work so I get a day off. Actually a little bit more than that. They messed up my 8 hour requests and it was easier to give me a day off rather than fix their mistake. Got some beef marinating for fajita on the griddle tonight so all is good. May work on the woodpile in the yard.

We have some really nice walking and bike trails up here on the Mississippi bluffs. Went for a walk yesterday and found these 2 big ole White Oaks that fell over the trail. So I got a little smoke and vibration therapy today. Bucked them up and got jammed together but got them loose and sent them down the hill somewhere. I took 2 saws just in case but then had to carry them back 1/4 mile uphill to the house. My 72 yr old rear is dragging. 🥱

You know that’s a genetic problem..

I love the extra fat.. but that goes way too far..

Have you thought of introducing a modern cross.?

It's pretty much par for the course with the breeds we're raising.

Yeah, I'm thinking we're gonna to try something a little faster growing in the future, but we've still got about 20 of these lardballs to process.....
need any lard?.....I could likely send a few pounds back with Steve & Goldie next time they're down.

I could always use pork fat lard The bacon that you sent us home with was fantastic. It was also extremely fatty.Which I love..

Now to find something in between..
