Morning all, 49° now with high of 65°. Looks to be getting up to 75° tomorrow and then Sunday and Monday the bottom drops out again. Calling for mid-teens Sunday night. Looks like I need to bring up a little more wood.

Let us know how it turns out.

I have heard of opossum pie, maybe there are set of those pie dishes, see if you can collect them all.
Search "GRANNY" or "The Beverly Hillbillies" for a recipe.
Then have a Proto Plate made and get RICH!!
I have enough projects in my head So I just threw this out here for entertainment value.
On a Serious note My Cuzzen Ken" swore by frying Squirrel Meat Throw out the squirrel and make Gravy with the drippings. I never had the chance to try it but his wife could make a great snapper turtle stew or chili.

Morning all, 47° with high of 75°. Early rise, going to go coffee route for a bit before trying to hit the water to relax before the weather change tomorrow. Hoping these take a couple days off from dropping until it is warmer but that is not how things usually work around here.

You mean not even eat the squirrel meat? What a pity. It’s fine tasting stuff, a lot like rabbit, but they’re difficult to dress without getting hair on the meat.

since we’re leaving the Ferguson at the Stamp from now on we figured it was better to clean out and rearrange the old storage building (where I keep the Bolens tractor) than leaving it outside. After getting it all cleaned out and stuff tetrised in place I figured I’d better measure the door opening for clearance. Less than 1/2 inch on each side. Took a few try’s to get absolutely straight but it went in.
So now it can be kept inside.

I got a dollar that says Thomas can still break it.
He can try.. but that beam will remain..
It’s so heavy, Im gonna have to put a Jack stand on the wedge end to support it when hoisting large rounds and running the 4 way.
