That’s a fancy rig..
He will never use 75% of options but he wanted the suspension of the cab & front end. It will make a nice baling tractor.

I am trying to get him to pull the planter with it but since he won’t use the auto features it would be pointless. Lol

He went to the auction to look at a couple of 7410’s. I was stunned that he bought an R series.

He never did like his 7330.

I intend to be there, probably no boys this time.
Planning on bringing a trailer in hopes of a sawlog or two.
Time wise......idk, but don't plan on me for breakfast as I don't typically eat in the morning.
We will see what we can get out as far as saw logs for you and Matt and hedge for whoever wants it. See some possibilities with some cherry, cedar and possibly walnut. And you are wanting some sassafras to try some stuff with. It will be smaller but we can load it up.

Tried out Dads new tractor today, it took me a bit to get things moving…

Lots of technology, bells & whistles in there.

He sold his 7330 & bought this 6155R

Rides nice with the suspended cab & front end. Allegedly it has a setting for suspended loader as well but that will have to wait for another day.

thats got the ivt trans. hows it compared to the 7330? i was thinkn about selling some of my smaller older tractors and getting a small frame 7000 deere to do everything with. i really like the size of the 6000 series but dont want that much electronics or emissions id have to go back to a 10-30 series like a 6420/6430. let us know how it goes.

Cherry would be really nice.
Cedar is always useful.
I'd like to play with a bit of sassafras if it works out.
Walnut..... if it's big enough and Matt doesn't need it.
I'm not wanting/needing a massive load of logs, just a few nice pieces would be great.

The hydraulics were always slow, I believe they came with 2 different sizes of pumps. it always seemed under powered, it rode like a lumber wagon.

He is spoiled by my brothers 7410, it has 14,000 hrs on it & just keeps clicking along.

He bought a New Holland ( similar size to 7410 ) few years ago, it was a turd off the lot, NH wouldn’t stand behind anything on it. Called the regional rep about it & they didn’t have anything productive to say.

My buddy Chase has three 7810’s, they are very dependable units. He has a 6110M, he bought it new, it is a very good utility size.

Chase leased a 6155M when he bought the 6110. I liked the 6155, I baled & planted with it.

The IVT trans definitely has a learning curve & takes some getting used to.

The 7330 had a 5x4 transmission in it.

Those older 7000 series had so many transmission setups it was ridiculous.

Some of the had 4x4, some had 5x4, power shifts. Left hand reversers on the steering column & some had the reverser on the righthand console.

Chases 6110 has a 5x4 transmission, the 6155 he leased had a 6x4.

Morning all, 44° to a possible 70° today. Guessers keep talking rain all the time and we never see it. Maybe tomorrow. I'll throw the top on the boat this morning and take a rain suit with me tomorrow.

Good morning Tony,

Working for Brown Power today? (UPS)
Morning Chet. Yep, been getting home later now since we are on the cutting routes routine that follows Christmas. Ten plus hour days for a lot of us. Gets a bit tired trying to work in the dark all the time.

Almost forgot about this little gem. Multiple large tow trucks hauling Amazon trailers that were illegally parked at a random business. Amazon doesn't have a large enough lot to drop empty trailers so they have the drivers dump them on other business lots. Nice way to do business.
