It's not slowing down traffic on the highway in front of the house. But then I spend a lot of time out working in this weather so I am not surprised. Spent a little time with the bucket making a path to the road and in front of the shop. Matt, don't wear wool gloves and run a leaf blower right now. Lack of humidity makes it build enough static electricity to power a house(more or less). It will jump a spark you can hear and see when you get too close to something metal. My reflexes were tested several times until I gave up.
Got an extra tractor I can borrow? lol

Thomas asks part of the right questions. Need to ask if he has an extra MFW cab tractor with heat you can borrow.

We were talking about some of the trees I am planning to cull from the east fence row a week or so ago. Do we need to plan a play day at the house to make it easier? Thomas and Matt were talking hedge and Matt and Derek would be looking at milling stuff. I don't ask for help on things that I am easily capable of doing myself, just thinking aloud that it would be easier and people could pick and cut things as they want them. I'd let the neighbors know we would be opening the fence for a while to clean up and could load with tractor as we went.

I am off every other friday and weekends; I am off this coming Friday for reference. Set a date, if I can make it, I will be there. I have no weekend plans in the near future.

I work Fridays so it would have to be a Saturday. Weather will be the main factor for me. Looks like 2/7 and 2/14 are going to be mid to upper 40's per forecast. Need to have Matt weigh in and see his schedule as well. We can do breakfast and lunch here, usual breakfast stuff and brats and hamburgers for lunch. Get some numbers on who will be showing up. Still planning on a repeat of last year for Oct. 3.

When there is work, Matt does not like to stop and eat until the work is done, just sayin'.

Playing extra-sausage?

Neither do I, nor when I am fishing. Doesn't matter to me if it is lunch or supper. Main thing will be working fence row over the top of the wires so not to ruin chain. I can clean out the row itself later. Probably run into my side about 10 foot or so cleaning as we go. I have cables and chains so dragging is also an opption. May have to drop the fence in places to down trees as well and then put it back up. Have to check with neighbors again to make sure it is no problem for us to be there cleaning up on their side as well, but when I talked to them last year they had no problem with it.

sounds like a plan
Be nice to see you again Kenneth. I'll see if the nephew will be in the area that weekend as well so you meet him and can find out where to go and harass him at work.

Figure out which Saturday in February works best for everybody. I'm open to 7, 14, or 21. White bass will start schooling on Stockton late Feb/early March and I think Matt needs a lot of fish to clean. Need to have Derek and Sam along with Steve, who has trouble catching anything, meet me on the ramp one day. They school in open water before the spawn about 10 to 20 feet under the surface and last year we had a blast chasing them around the lake.

I actually like white bass..

Some say they’re fishy, but they taste like an ocean fish to me.

@JimBear got the fat beagle out for a bunny run this afternoon. As long as I am out there she will stay out for a while. Keep telling the family it would do her and them a world of good just to get out on nice days and walk a couple miles in the field.

My beagle is about as wide as he is long after plowing thru all the venison bits/pieces & wearing his winter coat. He looks like a pony keg with legs. I bet he has put on 10-12# in the last month.

Sounds to me like he wants to be Identified as a Fat Basset. You may need to get him some Skid Plates to Protect his Undercarriage.
My oldest sister Loves her Beagles. For her Name present this Christmas I gave her the money for a vanity license plate. I asked her as she opened the envelope with the app and cash if she was going to use her unusual first name and she said "NOPE , Gonna be "BEAGLES"

The 14th is out already.,

Just got reminded that Levi and Ethan and I are going to Louisville on the 13th and coming back on the 14th.
I was going to say that as long as we guys on here have been married that the 14th was just another day. We want to try the 7th? Looking at the temps from the guessers is a long shot but I am wondering how muddy it will be on the 21st.
