Always scary when I go out and find part of a firework in the wood with scorched wood around it.

That sounds like something that would happen to me, except I would have been the one lighting the fireworks & burning my own woodpile up …

Morning all, 42° for the start. Looks like mid 50's again. Thought I had an ingrown hair on left index finger last weekend and did usual lance for it to drain. Must be something different because it started getting angry with me. I guess when four other people say get it looked at I might want to go see a doctor. I know where I will be this morning.

Good morning y’all. Went out cutting yesterday for the first time in a couple years. Took one of my 024s, 650evl and s 362m. I didn’t even fire up the latter 2. Love my 024s. They’re not the most powerful or the fastest but I just like them.

I had a very nice 024, gave it to a friend. I love the way it sounds; they are great little saws...

Quite swollen prior to the doctor visit, I will spare you the picture of what is under the bandage. Got a poke in the buttocks from Dr. at the urgent care I use and some horse pills. Looks to be reduced in swelling after a couple hours already. Had to ask the Dr. about her accent, Zimbabwe native. She had that british/south african accent and was pleasant to converse with.

Some guy driving my pickup ruined two perfectly good deer just before he got home tonight.......stupid vermin.
Fortunately no noticeable destruction to the truck, and there were no other cars around, but still....stupid vermin.
There's a herd of a dozen or so (well, maybe only ten now) that I've been asking all the local hunters to thin out before someone hits one...😡

A few years ago I got a spider bite on my leg. After a few days the swelling had not gone down and it hadn't stopped weeping so I went to the Dr. She looked at it and said "yup, its a spider bite, nothing we can do for it, but since you came in here with an open wound I need to put you on anti-biotics..." So helpful....

They make good dog food after being tenderized by a vehicle

You forgot the part where you got your eyeballs gouged out financially just for walking thru the doors.

Does this mean your freezer is full??
I can neither confirm nor deny as to their final resting place.....
I can confirm that they were on the pretty small side.....unfortunately.

I did back (back) over em to assess the results....so yeah pretty much smooshed.

@Only the Tony what did they find?

Locust thorn? Metal shaving?

Inquiring minds want to know 😬
Nothing really. I had already dug around in it so much all she did was look at it and get me started on antibiotics. Drained stuff off last night and puffy again this morning. Cool 34° now and bummed because I can't use both hands right now. Warm compress right now and ibuprofen then see what i can drain in a bit.

Today
Partly sunny, with a high near 41. Calm wind becoming west southwest around 5 mph.
What you read in between the lines... If you aren't on pavement or grass it is going to be greay, slick, stick to yer boots muddy and probably easy to sweat even with a jacket/long sleeve shirt.
