Morning all, sitting at 18° and supposed to get to 40°. Fire and coffee right now. Don't know what time my feet stopped being icicles last night, after I went to bed though. Another day and then two off for the holidays. Stay warm.

Mornin Tony.
It was cold yesterday.... I had a few fingers that were still tingling at bedtime last night, increasing my sympathy for people who don't like cold.
At 45° today should be much less uncomfortable.

Luckily, today they have extra people so I will be home unless I go to Sam's to pick up some new truck batteries. Mine are 5 years old and didn't like the sudden cold for the last two days. Puts some pressure on them running glow plugs and turning over a diesel. Charger is on it now, showing 37%, so I will have to see if it will fire in a bit. Glad to have it happen now when I have time to do something about it. Toes are cold from feeding this morning still yet.

@Hedgerow

Have you done business with Liberty Tree in Carthage ??

They had a projectile launcher listed, that peaked my interest.
I’ve bought ammo there.

One of the guys there only eats ketchup on his whistler burger though..

Sooo… that’s a little sketchy…

Maybe you need some of those insulated Crocs...

Was wearing my Wesco's with thick socks this morning. I have to take them off usually for my feet to warm on up. Expensive day already, takes two to tango. I always replace both batteries so they are evenly matched. Truck spins much faster now. Might need to pick up a carbon pile to test the old ones, normally only one is bad on a diesel and if you don't get it spinning fast you are not getting it started. Now for some leftover homemade smoked turkey and noodles.

Hopefully AGP has their chit together & fixed today. Only one pit running yesterday & they were working on both scales. Lots of sitting & waiting yesterday.

Weather is looking promising thru the weekend, maybe get some wood cut & start on cutting some fence posts.

Little cool this morning. Moon was still up at 3:40 but gone by 5:09. Just me and the blue heron on the ramp at that time. Another morning of watching the sun come up and getting my hands cold and wet. Need to look to black/white ratio again but we are ending the year with 512 keeper crappie in the boat. Derek still has not moved between the lake and my house so I was forced to clean them myself. Got to check the cows in a bit after I warm up a bit.

Morning all, 39° right now, going to mid 50's. Got insurance blood draw and blah this morning. Picking up underwritten life with the new policy. No coffee so I am not sure how that will affect my blood pressure, probably not for the best. They are coming to the house to do it but not until 9. I told them they are messing up my new years day tradition of fishing. Neighbors decided to set off some fireworks a bit late, I need to return the favor on some random night just for the fun of it. Watch out for the crazies today.

Happy New Year all. Trying to get some ambition to go out and do something. Plus side, neighbors had their normal fireworks and my wood piles are still intact, so that's a big win. Always scary when I go out and find part of a firework in the wood with scorched wood around it.
