Yes, we decided to use wedge anchors on this one...wet set anchors are a pain.

If you get hit by a serious storm, it'll have to make matchsticks before it comes loose from the foundation.
Used those on my shop. Waited 30 days to let it cure a little longer before I drilled into it.

Frickin' snow and soon cold. Claiming to be seeing teens for highs and possible below zero's befor the weekend is over.

And this is in the twin cities. Up north the tease is for -4 or -5f overnight for this wekend.

Why, other than to screw up a travel weekend. Oh wait this is an annual occurance. :taptap: Welcome to our shorter sunlight season(s).

Kind of brisk out with the wind still blowing.

We had gusts near 50mph last night, saying gusts around 40mph today with temps in the 30’s.

Clearly the old shack has settled a bit, there are some obvious drafty spots

Cold and windy this morning. Supposed to be 10mph from NWN but that was an awful fast 10mph. Warming up in front of the fire before I feed the cows in a bit. Took someone that retired from UPS with me today, he wanted to learn some on using live scope. I think he has some more to learn. One thing is that you can't feel the jig bite when wearing wool gloves/mitts. Almost lost one of my rods which would not have bode well, not cheap to replace. I went without gloves and had to take several breaks to warm my hands.
