Took it to a friend with a machine/welding shop. He called and said it was ready. He was not there when I picked it up. I am assuming they put it in a large press and gave it a few gentle presses.

Let the owner of the stump know that thing will try to keep growing and be full of saplings next year unless he feeds it some Tordon.

Unless he’s just going to dig it out of there in which case it doesn’t matter.

Foggy 45° this morning, about 100 yards visibility. Let the boy sleep in with the weather, will try to get out tonight again. Had three does run under us last night that something spooked from the north. Disappeared into the woods south pretty quickly, will see what happens tonight.

Yesterday morning it went from clear to super foggy as well in about 15 minutes.

I’m surprised this rope lasted as long as it did. This saw bites me nearly every time I try to start it.

Morning all, 49° starting at 3:30. Woke up about 12:40 and listened to the rain for a bit, going to be interesting in the boat today. Taking neighbor back out and meeting friend in Grove for chasing spoonbill today.

Going stihl elastostart replacement? And would that be a candidate for frogskinz if you can't find the replacement part?

A bit of drizzle this morning, breezy & cooler. Looks like the precipitation will dwindle in an hour or two.

Supposed to very breezy & much cooler moving thru the week.

Lots of barking thru the night & early morning. Most was exchanging insults with the local coyote pack.

Some was from death threats sent to the raccoon they ran up the pin oak.

They were camped out under the tree this morning.

Lots of bouncing & tail wagging going on when the 22 made an appearance.

Still drizzling, winds are allegedly supposed to start tonight or tomorrow. Gust to 50mph.

NWS says rain snow this weekend, secondary roads crew are blabbing about 6”-8” of snow this weekend.

Guess I better check out Ryan Hall’s site for a better assessment.
