Morning all, just dropped to 49° now. Two pie crusts in the oven and a couple more to go before I start the filling. Got a little rain yesterday and it started again before dark and chased me off the mower. Moles have really started pushing up now, might need to dig some worms for fishing since they should be up as well. Took one of the targets down and look like about 1 1/2 foot from target to hill rise at 400 yards so we should be good to go at that distance.

Two very successful auctions yesterday.
Got around 5 trailer loads of junk.....Tom bought most of it at his auction.

Going to turn it into a swap meet as well? I don't know anyone with an AK or pistol of that caliber that I can think of and don't need tempted right now. I got a 2 yard dumpster and have been cleaning up and getting rid of junk that have been in the way for too long. Hate to throw some things away and may have to see what I can pawn off next Saturday.

Once it cleared off last night, we totaled up 2.1” in the gauge.
Seems it all soaked in. Puddles are gone this morning..

Significantly cooler this morning, we got about .05” rain last night, the front blowing in was a breath of fresh air.

About 48* now with some gusty NW winds ( up to 25mph).

Actually started a small fire last night.

Morning folks. It was cool enuf to fire up the stove this morning at 39f ( and that's the warm one for the next week or so). 56f later.
Guesser are sayin freeze events by the middle of this week.

Played with the hoe (not what the filthy minds thought first), and removed a pesky stump. Looks like a root ripper will be added to my want list.
This was about 1/3rd of it after tearing it apart some.

And one of the final pieces.

Tree was felled 2 years ago, maybe it helped with it coming apart.

Not much chance of that around here. Got an old cabinet TV that either need a good home that can repurpose the cabinet or become a target. Who knows what all is in the old falling down barn. I used to have a pretty good idea of what was there but not as much anymore.

Another 48° morning, high supposed to be 75°. Looks to be nice until Friday and then rain with a chance into Saturday morning. Few minutes sitting down for breakfast now and then back to it.
