Greetings from the Fall Creek area of Branson. Down here with the daughter’s crew until Friday(ish).

Someone stole the rear plate off the van last Wednesday. Reported it at troop H HQ. MHP. Accosted by Branson PD this afternoon as I still have a front plate. They have plate readers down here. You can’t win. 😑

Move the front plate to the back. See people all the time with only one plate.

Farm registration in mo requires only the front plate, they don't even supply one for the rear.

And, good morning folks!

Anything 3/4 ton or heavier is only front plate in MO. Register by weight like a big truck.
Only if you request the 18,000 or larger weight tags. You can get just the regular tags if you want. Farm means nothing except to pinky swear you will only use it for farm use. Both of my trucks have 18,000 on them considering the number of times I'm using them to haul tractors or hay.

Morning. Starting 70° and going to mid 90's today. Couple more "work" days before I abandon big brown for a week and a half. Steers to move for butcher time and hay to haul as well, not to mention other farm chores to catch up on. Changed trash service and got a 2 yard dropped off on Saturday so it is purge time.

Got hot today here (Branson).

Finally caught a couple trout. One big sow broke my line at the hook. 🫩. I can’t see for chit to tie a proper knot.

Bigger of the other two. 😁

I dumped .59” out this morning.
We need some .59 here pretty bad.

It’s been 4 weeks since the last measurable one.

There’s gotta be a better way…

That's a heavy hanger but you are pushing a lot of vittles to them to get them to that at a younger age, not to mention the cross breeding. My little angus cross may push 1000 on one or two, but they are hitting 36+ months. I may try to pick up a couple of akaushi and cross them down a generation or two just for the fun of it. Should be some great marbling.
