that sucks by hand. i bought a older new holland stackliner that picks them up and stacks them on its own. it has been a life saver. mine only carries 56 bales to a stack but it also does single bale unload also. i think mine is a new holland 1012. then once stacked i can use an 8 bale grapple to move them at that point to load onto a truck.

My days of throwing 2k bales a summer are long gone, as are the days of rounding up & having the best crew of bale throwers.

Most around here have gone to large rounds.

Last “crew” ( 3 high schoolers) I saw unloading about 80 bales, had on shorts & were trying their best to try & keep from scratching up their legs & carrying the bales away from their bodies.

I have never been around an accumulator.

Our best day was 4600 bales. Average was 2500-3000 per day. 2 balers, 6 wagons, and as many bodies as I could recruit. 6 minimum but 8 was better.
Always wondered why we didn’t have a bale wagon, but looking back, it couldn’t have kept up with the unloading crew.

Belle of Georgia. I can eat a dozen of these straight from the tree. Need to get a few more trees to replace some that have died from the weather. Can't wait to retire so I have the time to work at home. This never knowing when I will get done is for the birds.

Kinda warm even in MN so I was glad my daughter asked us to go out for a pontoon ride yesterday. Things calm down on the Mississippi Sunday afternoons and it was really relaxing.

Those look amazing. The best I ever had were straight from the tree; they were at my wife's uncle's house in Southern CA

G-Mornin' folks, 66f and 88% muggyness to start the outside day. We got a second batch of moistures starting near dusk last evening totaling 0.8", and that was in addition to Sunday evenings 0.47" also a near sunset drenching.
So with a couple of days of liquid moonshine today were expecting near 86f with the a good bit of residual humidity.
