The dogs were ready to get in the truck this morning.
They thought they wanted out when I got back to reload so I kicked them out but they were right by the door when I was loaded & ready to leave again.
It was a bit toasty in that grain bin. Lots of coolant was leaked out in there sweeping & shoveling.

Still a bit toasty out. Things I do to maybe have a bit of time to enjoy on Saturday. When my hands said I had run the weed eater enough tonight I had a bit of a fresh fruit salad. Maybe I should show up at Matt's about 4:30 Saturday morning.

It’s my understanding that bats cannot take off from the ground. The have to jump off a high perch to get airborne making them an easy catch for predators.
My only experience is evicting one from my dear mother in laws dining room. Using a landing net and a pair of leather gloves I trapped him against the wall and released it down the hill at Bartlett Park by tossing him in the air.
This occurred near midnight. Barbara drove the car while I held the prisoner.

All kinds of thunder, quite a light show & some heavy rain going on here. Radar is showing it going on for awhile.
Blasted one of the prized wild goats that belong to the state of Iowa last night on my way home from baling last night. Took out my grill, radiator & pretty much did in the bumper.
If I shot the damn thing without a license & got caught, they would confiscate my gun, my pickup & revoke my hunting privileges.
One runs out in front of you & junks your vehicle, well gee that’s too bad.
I guess I will be going to the salvage yard looking for parts…
At least the coffee maker is working this morning.

Morning Midlanders!
Instead of a hot dry summer we are getting a monsoon season this year.
The daughters crew and I leave for Monett/Branson the 3rd. I’ll be driving the party bus so we can smoke and pee frequently.. Stop and see the house Michael bought.
