Thunderstorm rolling in. Again.

Exactly.Something about the weather sucks wherever you are. We adapt, do what we have to do.
and *b-word about it
Likely enough, I know bats can make a huge difference in the mosquito population.Actually I think it's the bats and the tree frogs keeping the skeeters down. Just my opinion. Glad either way.
I do remember a few years ago, we were setting heat records for a couple week stretch. Thomas remembers I’d bet..Likely enough, I know bats can make a huge difference in the mosquito population.
I have heard that skeeters overheat at around 85-90° and become way less active.....but maybe it's fake news, idk.
That's a high price to pay for reduced bugs, but at least it's a positive.I do remember a few years ago, we were setting heat records for a couple week stretch. Thomas remembers I’d bet..
got so hot you couldn’t find any ticks or chiggers. I’d start cutting around 6:30 and by 7:30 or 8:00, I’d sweat empty and head to the house. We hit 109 that year IIRC..
So how has Mark H been doing. I haven't seen him since one of the other Marks museum gatherings ! ?All the rain was IA/MO border south & north along I-80.
Looks like the Hoskey boys may have gotten a good shot overnight as well.
