In other news....
Early this morning my dear mother went home to the Lord.
She turned 78 last month....also, last month she got to hold her 100th grandchild!
Her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids were her pride and joy, she was a midwife and was involved in almost all of the births.
She always struggled with respiratory issues, and it seems her lungs finally gave out.
11 of her 14 children were with her right till the end, (as well as a bunch of grandkids).
I got to talk to mom for the last time Sunday afternoon, she was calm and happy to be going home, her faith was very strong.

Lol, yeah a few of us kids weren't blessed with large broods.



Mom was a fine lady, if everyone had the kind of parents I was blessed with the world would be a much better place........and more populated.

So at the risk of being nosy.....14 children and 100 grandkids gives about 7 per child, if a 'few' did not have large broods, what is the largest brood of your siblings?

12 I believe.
Three of us have 4 and one is at 2 (so far).

Yep, mom would take darned near anybody into her care, our home was almost always shared with some number of unfortunate folks.
