Starting at 49° and cloudy today, supposed to hit 71° and sunny. Got to get some parts and change a cam sensor for someone in Neosho this morning before starting the work at home day. Water was rising pretty quickly yesterday evening but still caught a few fish. Sidewalk in first picture taken at 6:16 and was beside where I parked my truck. By 7:10 when we were leaving there was no sidewalk visible by the truck. That area was completely dry when I parked. Didn't take much longer for police to start kicking people out to keep the idiots from being having to be rescued. I'll be back over when the water starts dropping out again.
Missouri season runs until April 30. I don't know the Missouri area enough to catch consistently unfortunately. When water gets back into the banks at Miami I will hit it again this week. Today was work straight 12 hours with no break, so tomorrow is dad and other old family friend (86yo) trip to Stockton for crappie. Not sure what the rest of the week holds.Nice fish!
I'd love to smoke one of those guys.
I need you to give me some shooting lessons; and I will teach you how to run a saw in return...evening fellas hope everyone is doing well been busy as all get out here. between farming and running equipment there hasn't been much time left. in other news me and my shooting partner got formally invited to compete for team USA at the ipsc world open in south africa. like the Olympics but for hand guns. pretty excited to say the least.
