Good morning crew, 39° may get up to a temp I don't recall

It was 28° to start the day but warmed up quickly. Hot breakfast on the banks of the river always tastes better. Don't have pictures of the largest hybrids. One my friend is holding is over 5lbs. Several 7+ to over 10. Might hit it again later this week to see if they are moving better. We didn't catch too many fish but had a good day.

Pictures later. 1/8th oz no collar jig head, bobby garland is a soft body lure manufacturer and the colors usually didn't matter too much although it helped to have a little chartreuse. Something with a paddle or curly tail as well like a stroller body. I will admit I was mainly using a strike king paddle tail in monkey shine color but caught them on electric chicken, white grub body, double silver rainbow and some others. I need to pour some more heads but I haven't been able to find where my number one hooks got put. May just pour number 4 this afternoon after taking some calves to market. Neighbor may want to buy from field so he will be looking first.

When you don’t think 1 piece of c channel is stiff enough, mount the ball and weld another one to cap it in.
