Think I will just stick with my little '03 Jetta TDI. Reliably 47.5 MPG and if I run I-44 for a bit to get rid of the hills between Joplin and home it will average 49.7 MPG. Winter changes it a little bit but not bad for a 22 year old car.

Those cars are hard to beat for fuel economy.

Good morning, get going, its work time already. Stuck caliper pins are a pain in the butt. Going to give it one more try this morning before paying way too much to replace it. 59° to 77° today and calling for possibly raised voices in the office this morning. Someone opened up the address where a driver was attacked by dogs about 18 months ago and the stupid office lazy whatever sent me a message to deliver it anyway. Not going to be a fun morning for some people. 3 years, 11 months.

This may sound crazy but you could try going to a local health food store and getting some Oil of Wintergreen. It was suggested to me by a guy that used it to take kingpins out of heavy duty trucks and I used it to get a stuck injector out of an early model Duramax. It's the most aggressive penetrant that I've ever seen. Plus what you're working on smells good after using it.😋

Oats are in.
Broadcasted em with clover and orchard grass seed mixed with fertilizer.
The neighbor came by and ran his disc/cultivator/double roller basket over it set at 2.5”.
This field has never been this smooth and level.

Took care of it this morning with the fire wrench. Back together tonight after I picked up new pins and rubbers from O'reillys this morning on the way to work.
Wind is howling with 50mph gusts!!!
Wanna try it in a big brown sail? Makes me wonder how some of the truckers pulling long boxes make it without being pushed off the road. Not going to be a fun night for those pulling doubles to KC.
