We haven't heard anything. Nothing is off the table at this point...@Hinerman , you didn't pass along the target of 16% reduction in personnel in VA crew. Just heard that from nurse installing chemo needle into port.
Look bizy and tell em you're doing more than they think.
I'll pass, thanks.Really?
Need a full time job just to pay for the depreciation on that *s-word bag..Good morning! I did an inspection on an interesting vehicle the other day. 2022 Porsche Taycan EV. 600 horsepower with a quarter mile time of 10.5 seconds at 130 mph. The guy was trading it in for another vehicle. Original price $185,000 his best trade-in offer $62,000. Talk about taking a bath!View attachment 453621
Nope, but don’t be surprised if you end up working overtime in the next 6 months. We haven't heard anything. Nothing is off the table at this point...

Let's get to it again today. 53° now going up mid 70's again. 7 working days until vacation for me which is good since work is going full retard now. Starting my day in the dark and ending it the same way is getting old. This time change was supposed to mean I would go home and have some daylight hours left.
The only thing our dispatcher has is a glorified piece of toilet paper. No experience, no on area knowledge and no common sense. After a year and a half on the job, if we were doing as poorly as he does, we would be fired. All he knows is the computer and what he tells him, unfortunately it is wrong because he has messed so much up. Drivers are getting tired and have started calling in just to have a day away from the stupidity, which makes it worse for us who show up and now have to work even longer. Seeing some big cracks in some of the harder working drivers with how much more they will take which leads to more call ins and feeds the cycle. That mite be as bad as goin full semi-auto.
I read where Porsche was discontinuing EV research and development.Good morning! EV's are hard to get people interested in. The owner said that this car has operated flawlessly with absolutely no issues. The dealer that he's trading it into said they want nothing to do with it and it's going directly to the auction. Something that took me by surprise on is that it has a sound file of a high performance gas engine that it plays when it's running.I read where Porsche was discontinuing EV research and development.
Coal burning battery buggies.
Hydrogen engines seem to be the next thing to try.
