I look forward to the time change. It's nice to go to people's houses in the daytime and see what I am doing for a change, especially looking out for dogs. I have a start time but I am only done when the last delivery has been made and I head back to the building. Right now I am starting my day feeding cows in the dark and then getting home in the dark still yet. They can keep it this way all year.

Good morning! Still inspecting vehicles and tinkering on saws. Been making progress selling some saws to reduce the population. I'm working on making some Homelite's into runners. Just finished a 5-30. I'm three saws away from having runners of the first eight models that Homelite produced.

Head guy (secretary VA?) Cabinet guy, stated the people in the back rooms, not those who are in direct contact or med staff, are let go. He told the interview peep that 2400 ,1/2 a % of total number of employees in VA had been found unneeded so far. He's using a scapel. 5 years ago I'd walk in to a stand up computer, drop my card into reader and finish info on screen. Same thing on the way out for travel pay. Last administration had to fill out paperwork and turn into one of 3 people for travel pay. Those peeps can go again without any loss to us vets coming thru for care

Sawed down and nice oak this afternoon.
Water oak? or chestnut oak?....I don't know. It's about 24" on the stump.....gonna make 3x6x17' for the hip rafters on the rest of the wrap around porch we built last fall.
Sure is fun running a good ported 372.


I bored it first to make sure it was solid, no point in cutting it if it'd had gut rot.

The guy was trading it in for another vehicle. Original price $185,000 his best trade-in offer $62,000. Talk about taking a bath!

I also removed 2 saws (so far-sent down the road to someone that needed runners) from my hoard, and am prepping 3 more macs to list soon (250-single ring, 510 and a 10-10A-RHS)
