Worked a deal for two 036 and an 034 with a fellow.

Some cash to him and spiffy up his 026 for them.

One of the 036 been ‘treed’ but still runs and cuts. [emoji43]‍[emoji94]. Needs a tank and wrap handle.

Got the 026 field stripped ready for ‘the dip’.

He dumped in some of the Sea Foam crap and now wont run but on a prime. Like they got diesel in ‘em. [emoji2955]

Sea foam good for 4 stroke injected. Obviously not 2 stroke friend

Trailer came with a 2 5/16 adjustable tongue. Backed the Van up to the trailer, the salesman started lowering it over the ball. Oops, 2 inch tongue ball. He ran inside, grabbed a correct one and bolted it in. The replacement he grabbed was aaaaaaa LOT heavier built. I mean Sherman tank heavier built. I'll say this, he did me right.
The ad for the trailer said 6 ply rated tires. After I got it home, Christopher came by to check it out. I was on my hands and knees checking out the tires and such. Hmmm, tires say Load Range D. 8 ply rated. Trailer is powder coated. Pleased again. Another plus, in my book, is the loan company put a GPS locator on the trailer. In case it gets stolen.

I believe you can get a 10 ply e rated for 15” as well

when I bought my 22’ with 5200 axles it came with 8ply tires. Those are long gone as they use the cheapest tire from the factory and I don’t like to risk a tire issue when loaded heavy. Ended up with 14 ply 225/75/15 from priority tire.

Those 14 ply tires are all the rage on trailers right now..
Guess people are tired of having blowouts.

And... hauling a little heavier stuff than recommended.. I like trailer tires to be hard as rocks.

I had 1.45” of rain from yesterday morning to this morning. No hail though.

Guessers are saying cool & rainy thru next weekend. Doesn’t appear that any corn/bean planting will be taking place.

I have seen people throw sand down & paint over it for traction.

I believe there are some paints that have some type of debris/substance in them that go on as the paint is applied.

Pretty much use silica sand dry in the primer. Only issue is it doesn’t last really long. Last about as long as traction tape that sticks down.
