We have a federal wildlife refuge here ,

The guy that does all the maintenance retired and no one will apply for the job ,
As I'm retired I help David (refuge manager) if he has and trees down across road as it keeps me knocking deep in good oak firewood.

He had 4 down Sunday and I took my old white top Husqvarna 44 and the modified ms180 .

That old Husqvarna is ~1980 model or around that , that damn thing is still my favorite saw, it just fits me for some unknown reason. Makes you wonder why they quit building them like this .

It's about storm season so I bet he will have more fall as ground is wet .

I wish I had a way to load them so I could have the cut for lumber , damn beautiful wood , straight, no limbs, no knots

Overkill! An A-frame with pulley at front of trailer or pickup bed. Pulley top of A-frame. Wrap rope, chain around log so it can tighten on log. Once rope is tight around log it is lifted and pulled toward front of carrying vehicle.
Josh from that other forum, loaded a 3,000# log onto a trailer for me just that way. Made it up with a couple 2x6's and a 5/8" diameter bolt at top. Once the a-frame is a s far forward as it can be releasing pull allows frame to lean back and the lifting loop to slide back for the next effort

Guess what! The standard 036 type clutch cover don’t fit 311/391 types. [emoji90]

Runs and cuts with some issues. 16” was only game on the peg board.

Leaky transfer cover problem solved by Hyway. [emoji106]
