Had a confirmed twister about 15 mile north of us tonight, just heavy rain with thunder & lightning here now. Fortunately there have been no reports of hail. Some reports of 50-70mph straight line winds.

About 4:00pm this afternoon heat index was 100* with 75-80% humidity it was rather sticky here also.

Actually, Levi and Ethan fixed the door for me on the bobcat while I was gone. Had to order a new front glass. So we will be ready to pick up bales with it this afternoon.

I've seen polycarbonate replacements for the glass, no more chances of breaking it.

I busted the glass out of my brothers JD a couple years ago. I figured it would be about $1000 but was $$687, now the alleged unbreakable front glass was $3200 .
I said I will just stick with the breakable one.

Those do break, I have talked to 2 fellas that payed the $3200 for those & the broke them out. They just don’t explode all over you like the normal safety glass

I had 1.27” total, in town about 6 miles SW of me they had 3.50”, on down south around Maryville they reported 7”.

I have a few small hopes for rain this is the lead of dark clouds, low volume thunder (may not be serious)
