Apparently he was in close & somehow caught it on fire with the exhaust. I imagine there was a bunch of debris built up on the intake screen which is next to the exhaust & some dry hay got hot & started on fire then fell off onto the bale.

The corn around here has really taken off in the last 10 days or so but we are needing some rain. I saw several patches of corn that were starting to roll today. There is a cell coming in from the north tonight, the projected path/timeline shows it petering out before it gets here though. That what all of them have been doing.

Now that’s insulting @Hinerman , I maybe a lot of things but a liar I am not...
It’s been rumbling & grumbling since about 12:30 this morning with an included light show but looks like less than .01” of rain. It’s better than nothing, it should make the projected 100* humid day even more pleasant once the sun comes out.
