Not to bad! It's figuring for the hog and processing. Processing here runs about $250/head. Figure about 60% or aliitle more of live weight is the amount of processed meat you get.

I’m all for the pork or beef producer making $$ and pricing their products at a price they can actually make it worth the effort of feeding them out.
It’s not a cheap process..
But I also know FB is ripe with BS marketing ploys lately..

Do a ‘flap’ muffler mod with a cutoff disc in your Dremel.

MS 270 above.

Bend it open or shut to suit. [emoji106]

Be mindful and not point it at the brake handle. [emoji2960]

Those processing and curing prices are close to cost local. At 65cents there isn't any fat for the producer.

And it costs me .50 per pound to cure hams and bacon...
So the bigger the hog, the more the cost.

Just seems it’s always a $400 bill for a 250 pound hog.
A 150 pound lamb usually a $300 bill.

Producer of the pig never really makes anything...
Literally maybe $15-$20 per pig at normal market price.

Guess they could charge .80 per pound.
