Those things are awesome machines.
I looked at a used one a while back but the price they were asking for it was pretty shocking for a used machine.

Yes same here. I’ve been looking and they were in the 40-50s used for a pre emission machine. I jumped on this one at 28k, has 2900hrs. Felt like that was a deal. First order of business is get the ac on top top shape then got a bunch of logs to rearrange so I can start cuttin them up. H

Took a seed tick out of my waist line on 7/13 or 7/14. I started noticing a ring and rash. It kept growing; I thought it was an infection (like staph/cellulitis). Went to doctor yesterday. He took one look and says, "looks like you have Lyme disease!!!" He started me on antibiotics. I searched images of Lyme disease and the pictures look exactly like what I have on my waist line
You're lucky you have a doctor that will prescribe antibiotics for this disease! My wife put up with this for over 10 yrs. Mayo and all the "experts" didn't think that Lyme's was that serious of a problem. We finally found a doctor that said otherwise, and prescribed antibiotic at a higher level than our local health care system would allow, and things turned around but fast.

Lyme disease can really screw you up in many ways.
Hope you get better!

You would not believe the amount of brush that can fit into a 5x10 foot area. That's all we could do in this heat. Still have about 10 times that amount, and that's just in one spot.
Geeze, stuff was intertwined and 20 foot tall.

Would a wintertime controlled burn be a viable alternative?

Morning midlanders !

Once all this brush is down and piled I've thought about going to the volunteer fire Department and see if they want some training time.
Or I've got a lifetime supply of kindling.

Got a chance to see real people at play yesterday. It was therapeutic to see American flags and everyone was acting like we used to see.

Largest antique tractor pull I’ve seen. Had two sleds running on the one track.

That looks perfect.
Time and temp?

4 hours at 180 (internal temp is supposed to be 160); 2 hours at 250; take out of smoker and place in aluminum pan and double wrap pan in foil, put back in smoker (still at 250) until internal temp is 195, about 2 more hours. I took mine off after 2 hours of being wrapped and the internal temp was 203. I let it rest in my oven (turned off of course) for about 2 hours; the directions say at least 30 minutes of rest time. You can see it falling/sliding off the bone in the picture. I agree, it was perfect; I was impressed, as was the family.
