Question I forgot to ask..

Is the full wrap handle for the 365 worth having???

What is the benefit?

What is the drawback??

Never used one

Only time I liked them was when I was doing a bunch of felling. Otherwise the 3/4 is fine with me.

Had a little help unloading. Got the wife to help run the tractor. I better watch or she’ll get hooked using it. She was having a lot of fun rolling that big log around.

^^^^this. I don’t like them but I don’t do a lot of felling. The full wrap gets in the way when limbing, stumping, and bucking. I had one on my 044 and took it off

Is the wood from a Pecan tree like that of any use for smoking?

I don't need any wood for my smoker as I have plenty, just curious.

Idk I’m told it can be used but haven’t tried it myself. Anybody else got any info? @Hedgerow?

Anyone know if this is normal for half to third box of insert saw teeth to be little off square? Making my saw mill wander. Cheap box of saw teeth. Maybe spend little more next time.

Are there lefts and rights in there? Maybe left, right, and centers. That just almost looks on purpose to me.

It’s great for smoking when it’s cured. I use it a lot. I’ve also used persimmon, it takes a long time to cure though. 2-3 years I’ve found.

Chet:
I have some cherry you could try.

From my free hand slabbing experiment several years ago.

Son in law’s smoker uses fancy store bought pellets. [emoji57]

I will trade ya Carl.

I can bring parts with me next time I am in Joe Towne

Yes. Some people prefer pecan. I think that is what the competition smokers use most of the time

Persimmon??? Interesting, never heard of anybody smoking with persimmon. I could have brought you some the other day; it’s gone now

I haven’t had any in a long time. I’ve got a friend down by Henryetta that let a pasture get overgrown with them. I could probably cut a lifetime supply out of there. We had a dog growing up that would eat them, always had strange body language and facial expression when it was time to pass them lol.
