Finally got the second 317 up and running along with all the hydraulics. Hydraulic blade on the front hydraulic 3 point on the back. 3 point hitch mount is due tomorrow.
Think I'll go out and wax the little thing now.

Why do folks cut them??

I have a pecan here at the house that's huge , one of the biggest I ever seen, never measured it

These were blow down from a tornado local to me. These aren’t even the big one.

The ones I have gotten were dying and a hazard to a house, or blown over from a storm. I cut some blow downs and the owner said don’t touch the standing ones—-very clear about that. He had a ladder leaning against one; told me he was grafting limbs from a different species of pecan tree to try to produce bigger pecans

Question I forgot to ask..

Is the full wrap handle for the 365 worth having???

What is the benefit?

What is the drawback??

Never used one

Only time I liked them was when I was doing a bunch of felling. Otherwise the 3/4 is fine with me.
