One guy suggested trying to slide a one inch pex line inside the 4" supply
Line. the city / plummer were talking 10k
+....... well that isn't happening
If we have to dig and bore holes on the other side of the building our selfs
And run pipes we will figure it out.
Mercy what a mess
What are city codes pertaining to repairs on this?

Is the break inside or outside the building? Also they might be able to do a repair like they do on broken sewer pipe. They make repair clamps you could try.

There was yet another Oly 264 on evilbay. I had put in my max bid several days ago. It got down to the last fifteen minutes. I was out bid some time ago. I thought I'll just up the high bidder another half dollar. [emoji48] Fumble finger geezer hit a five instead of .50.[emoji19]

You guessed it, made my third one in two months.[emoji6]

This one comes with a bar/chain.[emoji108]

And won't take near the whole can of foaming engine degreaser.[emoji849]like this last one did.

Best part is the seller offered Fedx home at $18 as an alternate to the outrageous USPS priority mail.

The break is our problem, after the meter. We can work on the building
On our property. One plan is to go
Threw the west wall... idk
Still figuring
Here in Topeka you just have to have to use a contractor if working around the main
So maybe you could find one who understands your plight and my be "witness " to the work for little or next to nothing. Just a thought.

Honest, I was just pulling the high bidder's chain.
Almost did that at a farm auction on a Mall 7. (Like I need another one)
It went from just bidding on it to "well, let's see how bad this kid wants this".
He wanted it pretty bad...............and he got it. [emoji11]

It's under the alley, we can't work in
That area. Only city and their contractors.
Dies your property line go to the middle of the alley? Is the break on your property? Alleys are typically private property with an access easement granted to the public. Call the city engineer. Citys dont work on private lines unless they broke them. Any licensed plumber should be able to do the repair. Unless lical rules require it, doubtful, you shuldnt have t relace the entire service line. Point repairs are easily doable and cost a lot less. We busted a 2" service line, in the middle of a ditch for crying out loud, and it took 8 hrs for two plumbers and cost $2000. Long story. Again, call the city engineer and get some straight poop.
Btw, a 4" service line for a small church building seems excessive. Just sayin

20" hardnose w/Vanguard chain no less.

My felt on the air filter may be a bit too thick as it was some soggy.

And: Morning midlanders!

Clouding up, rain starting noonish and all afternoon predicted.

Just what we need. Not![emoji37]
