A few minor movements.
Wheel is dressed different than what it will be, but ok for now.
Still on the salmon wheel.
I need to order an assortment soon.

How thin can you get the sideplate and still hold that top angle?

How thin can you get the sideplate and still hold that top angle?

You can get any top plate angle by just dressing the top of the wheel.
As far as side plate, the farther you push the cutter into the wheel, the thinner it gets.

I used a blue ceramic last weekend at Alan's.
Nice finish. But it sure didn't like the dirty chains I gave it!
Don't think I'd want to use it for the neighbors' work chains that's for sure.
I'll order a blue and a gray next week.
