So did anyone get any measure able rain outta this crap?

Gauge is broken and all the buckets blew over. :( Water is standing in some low spots so it was a fair amount or it all came in 5 minutes.

We are due for a dry year but I don't really want to contend with one.

An old man over in Seymour always told me "a dry year can worry you to death, but a wet one can starve ya to death"..

He always kept 200 round bales inside as a reserve and hedge against dry and wet years.

Been a dry winter. Hope this is the end of it.

Timing is everything. 3 months with less than 2" of rainfall isn't so bad from December to March. Cattle are happy and no foot rot. No stress.
June-August would be a serious problem. No grass or hay.

Adam,it looks like the XL98D has electronic ignition. If you have access to a toaster oven, put the module, generator, and coil in @200° for 24 hours. A lot of times this revives that type of ignition system.

I don't have a coil at all. The one he gave me is not for that saw.
