Howdy everybody! There will be a small charity cut this Saturday near Norwood if any of you have nothing better to do.

I took a few days off work and rearranged my "saw shop". Sure is nice to have everything I need in one spot!

Im not sure yet where they will be cutting, I only know where the landowner lives. For now, lets plan on meeting at the truck stop in Norwood at about 8/8:30. There is a small cafe there, and good coffe.

Any real benefit to a chain vice? I've just been hackin away with them on the bar.

I like the vise. It's more compact. But I file on the bar if the chain that needs attention is on it already.

I like the chain vice I got from Mike. While I still sharpen on the bar, I do like the vice to really lock'em down. Keeps the chain from rocking side to side.

Will eventually be a race chain. Will take a few touch ups and some chassis work over a long period of time..
