What? No backup?

Fill jug and heat it on the stove. Pour it over the grounds slowly, holding your cup under the basket.

Fill syringe and mainline the stuff.

Kerug. I figured it up and it's been through around 7000 brew cycles. I've revived it 3 times but this time, it's time to put it to rest.

What was the common problem with it?

Minerals from our water building up in the dispensing system. I picked up some powdered cleaner that you mix with 32 oz. of water and run through it that makes it good as new until it builds up again. This time, I think it's just tired.

A 4H Dad was in my barn today after we dealt with the cattle... He saw the 9010 sporting a 28" bar and said "Damn, that's a big saw!"... I laughed and told him it's pretty decent but there are much bigger options out there. He wasn't sure what to make of the 3' bar hanging on the peg board... All I could think was that He needed to meet Matt, Doug, Alan, Steve, Les or Hal and see their toys... Then he asked me what I needed all of the saws for. I told Him that I liked having the best tools that I could afford and the right tool for the job. Some jobs are bigger than others and spares are a necessity... His eyes got REAL big when I told Him that the Dollie would pull that 3' bar, buried, in Hedge just fine. I might have found a convert to the cause with the interest He showed. We'll see.

It's always fun to bring someone "new" to the dark side.

Found this yesterday at a local flea market. Wife decided she couldn't live without it (although we've wanted one for years). It came home today. The door latches say "Hoosier 1910" on them. Anybody know about these things?
