Got my parts to make the frame for my press. Also got the plate for the dies and the sheet metal for the deflectors

You guys have been busy today. I left the house at 815 to go haul logs and I'm 3 pages behind. We hauled 7 dump trailer loads to a couple guys with owb and there is one more load to haul yet tomorrow. Bunch of poplar ash and elm. The boiler doesn't know the difference

How did the 024 look? Was it a Super?

It was a normal 024 looked good. Had good compression. I don't think it had points or any of that old stuff it said electronic ignition

Bar and chain were ragged but the saw itself looked to be in good condition externally

I think it will work as long as this ram holds enough pressure. My pump goes to about 10k psi I think

The bolts and tap are so the dies stay aligned. I'll thread the bottom plate and put holes in the top one and use the shank as a guide

It's coating and silicone. ... and stuff .
I had a rotten board behind a hole
I got creative and trimmed the bottom
Of some studs and hammered a chunk
Of 2x4 in there, the sill plate is still good.
Just trying to keep water and mold out.
I did find my extra chain and 24 inch
Bar for the 590 that chain sucks stock.
What ever I did to the frankin work chain makes it feed hard
