I wouldn't spend a dime with theI've ported and built a few hundred saws im guessing and had 2 fail.
1 was a am wrist pin bearing and the other was that saw there and I've never heard what caused it.
The way I look at it is if you buy a new stihl from your stihl dealor and then take it to the husky dealor for a check up and the husky dealor grenades it and then calls the stihl dealor wanting them to send the husky dealor money to fix it.
I said it in that thread 50 times,I didn't build that saw,I ported a cylinder for it and nothing else.
I still offered to fix it but that wasn't good enough so I told them to pound sand.
Win some loose some.
I know you build some good stuff,Me and Brad do not mix and still he told me the porting had nothing to do with it and I still offered to fix it.
I've grenaded a few of my own saws doing R&D and seen pictures of lots of grenaded saws and not once have I seen a rod broken, neither has Brad.
They wanted to blame it on a lightened piston but if that's the case there's a 100 or more that should have exploded already, I think the rod broke from a casting flaw but who knows.
Btw... I would feel fine having youI know you build some good stuff,
Can't let this eat on you, you tried
To do right.
@67L36Driver I mailed the pin at break should be there Thursday
I think the fact he was recording makes the whole thing smell bad you know what I mean. And if I ever had a saw worth porting I would be hitting you up I think you the closest builder to me.Me and Brad do not mix and still he told me the porting had nothing to do with it and I still offered to fix it.

You got it backwards! You should have cut the goat to get the branch off!The dang goat got a hold of a good sized branch and drug it in his pen, he then rapped himself and the branch in his chain, before it was over I was almost
Late for work and had to get a chainsaw
To cut the end of the branch so I could slide the chain off....
Stupid goat![]()
Prison where? My project for tonight. My legacy saw. It's my dead grandpa's. I got the job at the prison by the way also. They called me today. Time to make serious money and buy some saws
