Or get a deflector, cut a hole, and weld it on haha
I'm curious why? I've seen everyone brazes them.No welds on mufflers, bad idea.
Hows p/c look? Got spark? Everything there? Not by me. I have too many projects now.[emoji21]
Owner looking to move it along.
I'm going to suggest he find a friend selling junk on evilbay.
The muffler is so thin that you'll burn through no matter how hard you try. Tig yes, mig, no. Silver braze, yes. If you pay attention the muffler's are braised from the factory.
Very well put, Mike. The muffler is so thin that you'll burn through no matter how hard you try. Tig yes, mig, no. Silver braze, yes. If you pay attention the muffler's are braised from the factory.

Don't be so hard on yourself Steve!I can weld and braze, too. I've seen Mike's brazing. Extremely nice. Whereas my brazing is like a 5 year old with crayons trying to stay inside the lines.
Mines not pretty by even the worst standards. But it holds up under a hammer. That's all that matters to me.Don't be so hard on yourself Steve!
