Big difference between welding and brazing. I think you were referring to brazing, but "Welding" is a term most use as a catch all phrase.

The muffler is so thin that you'll burn through no matter how hard you try. Tig yes, mig, no. Silver braze, yes. If you pay attention the muffler's are braised from the factory.

Not to mention mig Bb's.

I can weld and braze, too. I've seen Mike's brazing. Extremely nice. Whereas my brazing is like a 5 year old with crayons trying to stay inside the lines.
