Youngest son still has to build the lock system for daughters new gate. He said, "I'll have to build that after its installed because of obvious variables" . I asked him how he was going to power the welder out in her back yard?
Looked at me like I had 2 heads. (I've been getting a lot of that lately).
So I checked out the generator I bought a year ago. I new it would run 240 just needed to find out the amps. Welder requires 20 amps max input. Generator can supply 30 max at 240.
Sweet! But I need an extension cord. After researching what I needed and consulting with an electrician friend, it was off to Lowe's.
Cost me $95 to get out of there, but I now have a 30 foot 10 gauge 4 wire extension cord. Only needed 3 wire 20 foot but they had a 30 foot piece on the clearance rack so I took that instead. I'll put it all together tomorrow night and we'll test it.
:)

That would take (27 to 32) x 80lb bags to make the recommended pad. Lot of bags to hold 5800 lbs of boiler and water.

Ya it is.
They were trying to get some jobs done before holiday cuz they give them Friday off too. So couldn't get to me before then.
6'x10'x4" thick with the wire panel in it.
Should hold it up!

Recoil stuck on the old 335 husky so that's a prime time to remove the recoil, give it a bath and advance the timing!
