Weather hit as I was entering Joplin yesterday morning. Lots of trees down and power loss depending on supplier. Rained all night last night as well so probably going to be some flooding as well today. Areas I was in yesterday just had trees but south Neosho got hit with lots of damage. Midway vet where I delivered to when I was down there called to get the new drivers number since they had lost half of their roof. Sounds like in that area winds snapped off at least 10 utility poles in a row.

We were supposed to get some nasty stuff Monday but it never materialized. Any rain/storms went south/north again.

Guessers are blabbering about rain today/tonight.


Hopefully the new lawnmower shows up this week, the yard is getting a big shaggy.

Pretty sad state of affairs when I had a fire going last night & was wearing a stocking hat while mowing the yard today.

They decided to deliver the mower today, so I figured with no planting or trucking it would be best to trim the dandelions off while I had time.

I did find about a dozen mushrooms this evening.

After the wind died down & the overcast skies cleared it wasn’t too bad.
