Morning fellas. I shattered the glass cook top on our 5 Mont old range this morning..... I really want a wood fired cook stove.....

They really have cool factor, but i sure wouldn't want to depend on them for all my cooking needs. Lol.

I remember my grandmother had 2 cook stoves in the kitchen. 1 propane, 1 wood. She preferred to use the wood stove, even in July and August. She'd get the house so hot you had to go outside, where it was 100 degrees in the shade, to cool down.

I finished bucking up the Big Oak today. Still have to go back and load it up; probably going to have to noodle some rounds. It measured 36" diameter about 10 ft from the base. I won't be able to get the first 10', it is under ground with a huge rootball. Hard to explain, will try to get a pic next time I am out.

I sent some of you PMs for phone #'s. My phone was on in my pocket and I deleted all my contacts from A through R.

Going to take both granddaughters to cut wood in the morning. My little helpers, they are.
I say "little", Brooklyn is still little. 10 years old and maybe 4 foot.
Tyra, 14, is almost 5' 11".
