I could but that would be no better than they are acting. That's not exactly my style of doing things though. Had some other guy come up next to us twice yesterday trying to talk to us but I could hardly understand him. Second time we figured out he was looking for walleye. Told him he needed to be up the tributaries looking. Spawning season for them so they are making the run up river. You can catch some that don't make the run but the concentrations of them would be staging in pools waiting for dark. I don't target them normally so what I catch are always a bonus for me.

Do we even get any walleye from their spawning here?
I always assumed we depended 100% on restocking.

We made some laying boxes for the kids’ chickens since they’re getting old enough to drop eggs.
One of the big black hens staked a claim to one and was reaching over into the next box and pulling straw out of it to “customize “ her new real estate..

He showed up to the tree line we were cleaning up yesterday..

All I was doing was setting up along the channel edge in deeper water. White bass were moving in to the area and I would work along it and find some crappie as well. Many times people think we are sitting on a brush pile they don't know about and circle the boat trying to mark it to fish after we leave. Several times been sitting on a pile in the middle of lake and had someone come out of their way just to do that coming within 20 foot of the boat. Just want a little common courtesy but not many have it anymore. I'm not going to fish 20 foot away from you unless I know you and know that is not a problem. Find some relatives on the water at times and sit around talking then.

"Never argue with a fool" kind of fits being an @ss toward some one who showed you theirs is not as good as being a better example. Even if they don't get it

In some places there is a little bit. Read some article awhile back about native walleye in the streams around this area. MODofC just posted this about walleye collection for restocking. Main thing would be mortality rate between stock and native spawn fish.

good looking old dodge. im working on getting my 78 cummins power wagon on the road. ill set it up as a farm and welding service truck.

Did you get the hydraulic pump mounted correctly? And get the pump leak fixed yet?
