@Mastermind can you send The Bubba over to the west side of your state to teach those hillbillies how to shoot deer, they were more prolific than the dotted lines on the road.
We sure don't have that problem around here. Rednecks love venison.

Cooked up some soup bones. Slow cooked in roaster 24 hours. Beef stew for supperView attachment 447302
Looks good. I made two baking dishes full of enchiladas. One beef and one chicken. Then as long as the oven was on:

sausage, onions, peppers and lots of cheddar in an egg bake
then:

blueberry muffin bread and if your gonna bake a cookie it might as well be a 12 incher:

the dough must have been a bit too dry cause it didn't flatten out like normal.
Don't think I will be goin hungry for a while.

Went on a retreat with the youth group this weekend. There is a lake at the camp. They do a polar plunge every year. Isaac jumped in; he’s in the middle. It was 30 degrees with a wind chill of 15

It's cold this morning at 6°. Not sure what all I am going to accomplish today besides feeding the girls. Ordered a blower motor resistor from Amazon yesterday that was supposed to be delivered last night. 4 miles from the house the driver took off in the opposite direction and made a big loop over the next hour and a half. Checked this morning and I guess there was some weather that kept it from being delivered, maybe darkness keeps them from working. Maybe it will show up today, but regardless it should be interesting when I talk to the people at Amazon in Joplin tomorrow. Need to spend some quality time hugging the stove this morning with some coffee.

Good sunny morning folks. At the homestead it's -12f heading to -7f.

Today's going ons include going to our place with trees where it currently -23f, and staying in the double digits all the way to -13f. Tonight we're expecting in the range of -26f. Add in the current 5-20mph winds and that's friggin cold. By Friday we'll have a couple of overnights that are barely above 0f.
